Waiting

I hate waiting. I am ready to go. The next three weeks can't go by soon enough. The other day I said shoot and Brian made like he had a gun and said there. I said no I got something to live for now. He said what is that, and I said I'm going to Oregon. The look on his face was well stunned.If he hasn't figured out by now what this means to me, he never will.

Been spending time trying to figure out what I'm going to do while there. I know I want to get at least one picture of all the lighthouses including the lightship in Tillamook. Tillamook Rock might be a little hard as the hike out to where you can see it is a long one and it is far out so I don't know if I will be able to get it. And the other ones even with fog will be easy. Ok Cape Arago is never easy. But that is OK. I know the place where I get the view that to me is the most beautiful.


Have finally know which way I'm going when I leave Portland. Go down I5 to Hwy 38 head west to 101. On the way stop and see my sister for a bit. Thought about going over to the coast and going that way. But I wouldn't have enough time to do the things I would like to. So I will go up the coast to Astoria spend the night of the 19th there, then the next morning go over to Portland and return the car. And fly home on the 21st.

Plan on breaking the coast down one day go south to Gold Beach, then one day go up north as far as Newport. And do the things I want. Then on the 19th get up early and hit the places North of Newport to Astoria. One day I know I am going to go to Gold and Sliver Falls. The last time I was there was gee 24 years ago when we went out as a family.
